Profile
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Philosophy and a Post-First degree LLB from the
University of Ghana.
Before transitioning fully into law, I gained experience in media and communications, while working as a
multimedia
journalist.
My legal career has since evolved with a focus on natural resource law and minerals legislation
drafting. I have
received training and later served as a Research Fellow with the World Bank’s African Mining Legislation
Atlas (AMLA)
project, where I worked on comparative legal analysis of mining legislation across the African continent
and contributed
to mineral resource law drafting. This work enhanced my experience in legal research, communication, and
project
management, as well as, my understanding of how law and policy drafting can be used to drive meaningful
social change.
I am passionate about advocacy, particularly for children in illegal mining communities. My long-term
goal is to use
legal frameworks, education, and community-led initiatives to help these children access education and
acquire practical
life skills to create pathways to sustainable living.
